November
It's autumn now.

My trees have not been as spectacular as in previous autumns, but they are pretty nonetheless.
The trees by my front door

This is my favorite dark-red maple; the edges of its leaves rotted before coloring because of how mild late summer was in the microclimate of my garden. A lot of them were putting out new growth as late as late September, which made them more vulnerable when the cold snapped. It's still pretty.

Also there's this hound.

My yard

In November, the fungus begin to bloom.

This one is so beautiful.

These look like something from a Miyazaki film.

It's spring for the ferns, too.

Hound in the morning.

My pack, enjoying each other.

Bryophytes are coming back to life.

Longhound is becoming more of a Borzoi every day.

More bryophytes.

Roguey.

awwww

Another view of my red maple.

The one on the back hill.

A spider on fuchsia fruits.

My beautiful red filigree lace. When I got it, it had suffered sun damage, but it put out a whole new branch after I moved it here. The scorched leaves have fallen, but the new leaves are coloring beautifully. This tree is going to become more gorgeous as it ages.

My rubrifolium, sleeping for winter.
