OMG BABY HORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mom's lovely little arabian mare, Polly, foaled early this morning. The colt is tiny and beautiful, and amazingly friendly. Dad, as is apparent, is a really gorgeous arab/appaloosa stud. Baby has dad's color and an absolutely adorable little arab head and ears. He really liked having his mane petted, and wasn't at all skittish. But really, pictures speak louder than words.

Such a beautiful spring day, and Good Friday, though I've no idea what that means. Nice day for the little guy to come into the world. Tentatively, his name is Liberty.
