Octopus (a love poem)

Curled careful beneath stone, she sensibly
remains discreet, softness protected as necessary.
She will take what shape she wants, and when; she notices
what is relevant to her world, and acts according.
How breathless, to see her graceful tentacle extended!
How splendid she is in her element!

NoPo is a bit challenging to focus on tonight! I rode a long while, though. And groomed the shelties.
