Placement

The placement of one’s snout,
for collies,
is a thing that must be learned.
For instance, I am pretty certain that should not be there
(moving it away from the table)---
nor there either.

Training in the use of one’s snout
is more difficult still;
I imagine it’s moreso for elephants.

The next thing to learn is the placement of one's tail.

Without care, one's tail tends to sweep everything breakable!

Our dog Lionel's tail has its own name. Pygidium. It really is nearly a separate entity, and skies above does it ever wreak havoc when ill controlled.

That is really hilarious!

And they have a lot of snout to place!

They really have exceptional quantities of snout.

They remind me of horses where the snout is concerned.

The nose knows.
The snout, follows :)

ahahahaha. Bliss has been known to run into things because he's following a scent and not actually paying visual attention to things. I watched him follow a scent right into someone at the dog park not long ago; he bonked right into her leg with his nose, and then looked confused.

Okay, not a collie, but.... :)
