Their eyes and postures are bright, so I'm guessing no Ace...wow. What a portrait!! The collies/sheepdogs are hard enough (spazzzz), but even the husky is poised and even leaning a little on the collie! Amazing!
:D Thank you! I always love to get compliments on my dogs. ;D I guess all I can say is...lots of careful and consistent training? And luck. There were half a dozen others that I'm not posting, where they were not all looking at the camera. ;)
Training them to do long sit-stays and "focus" on command helps.
Total kudos to you, then! Gorgeous portrait-- we're not talking holiday card, we're talking calendar pic!
I can see how training and patience (and lots of takes) would work with the herders, but getting the husky to cooperate is the aspect of this picture that puts you well over the top!
