Puppy Pack in May

It's been long enough since my last dogs-at-the-beach photodump, so here's a set from last week!
Sometimes the pack is elegant and majestic, and sometimes they are more like this.

I like how the front and back halves of Zhava are pointed in different directions here, but her spine still has room to flex.

Puppy playbow action! With added Bliss- and Luck- butt photobomb.

I laugh forever at the dorkitude of hound puppy.

Notice Rooster's amazing second-year rough collie mane and how much seawater it holds! (Groomers in the audience, I am enjoying your winces of pain).

She scrapes a little bit of her dignity back here.

Speaking of rough collies, Bliss has come into quite a third year coat! So much fun to brush, and pet when brushed.

Coba being painfully cute and fluffy on a down-stay. I love the way he holds his paws together.

Volumes of dorkitude here.

Luck is the happiest dog in the world.

Zhava does not like having sand between her toes.

Zhava trying to eye-challenge Bliss and Luck into chasing her. Neither of them are into it.

I was mentioning Bliss' delicious coat?

Happy Queen Rogue! After a health scare last month, she seems to have bounced back and is now well enough for outings again. She is old and easily fatigued, but she is still enjoying a dog's life. Nice to see her frisking at the sea again.

I can't have a pet fox, so I got Coba. His eyes are blue and full of feelings, and when he is fully brushed out he almost has a fox pelt. He is the best and most ridiculous Coba.

Some dogs.
It has been a sweet and happy spring, full of fun and beauty. I am glad to still have Rogue, and am enjoying watching Zhava grow up. While I continue to grieve my old pack, the new generation is cohering well and becoming a really enjoyable, textured society of dogs to live with.
They are all complete dorks, of course.
