...yeah, I can hear Dani sniggering in the background. So, X-men again...just got the last Chasing Hellfire. And Sage went back to the Hellfire club, to what, make it a good thing? Or she's part-time X-men now? Hmm...I don't think I like this, but Claremont made Sage the wonderful chara she is...no secret here that I completely love Sage. I don't think he'll screw her up. But I am nervous, very nervous.

I read the Jubilee 3-5, too...what a fun little comic! And I loved the last page, where Logan shows up. Dating Jubilee would be a very questionable prospect with a ?father figure/???? like Logan glowering in the wings. But her new boyfriend, Shooter, is neat. I'm sad that the comic got cancelled. I'll take this moment to bitch about the Rogue comic again, which is the only one of these spur titles that Borders carries...OK, well, it carries Emma Frost and Mystique, too. But then those also got cancelled. Gr.

Feeeeeshy update: the little corys are all frolicking happily and apparently all healthy and happy, and cute as the dickens.

I got my battery charger for the camera, but the seller forgot to send the part that would allow me to actually USE the thing with my particular battery. They are now sending it. double-Gr. I want to post teh many many pics of my amazingly gorgeous cat.

And Pryde, of course, the glam malamute. Between him and Pounce, I have the uber-flashy pet thing going on. I washed him and brushed him all out yesterday. he is gleaming white and silver and poofy, and he knows it, too.

I'm now working on another fanfic, an 'Excalibur' based one. But of course, me being me, it's really about Sage even if she isn't in it. I like it so far; I'm going for kind of dark and broody, but there's more humor than I'd expected coming through, mostly because of Callisto. I love Callisto. Bitch with tentacles. What's not to love? Wait...don't answer that.

I've also got my marching orders from Griffin Art Exchange, and I've got a fun composition idea for it, though I haven't started yet.

yeh, the only part I didn't like about the Chasing Hellfire story was... ultimately... IT MAKES NO BLEEDING SENSE!!!! All the stuff Tessa spouts at the end is so devoid of rational thought or continuity I couldn't believe my eyes. When was Shaw ever NOT out for gaining personal power in the Hellfire Club? All this out of the blue crap about Shaw once being noble and now being not noble and that's why Tessa is now going to 'guide' Roberto as the new Black King? Huh? I expected her stay with the Hellfire Club. I didn't expect her to spout incredible nonsense to justify it.

I'm hoping it is all part of some greater plot. Yes. Either that or Claremont is on cold medication and drugged out of his mind. sigh.

Loved Emma though *^_^* and Rachel and Selene... Too bad we didn't see more of them. Pretty artwork. Just Tessa made no sense.

Yep...I have to agree, made NO sense, nada, nope. siiigh. Although...it does drop interesting hints about the *very* early days of the HC, after the scene with Xavier in the mountains but before "the unnamed one" became Tessa. And the background between Xavier and Shaw.

Maybe Shaw wasn't entirely out for his own best interests super early on, Xavier sent her to keep an eye on him and she stayed on because she thought there was some good in him?

I think that Clarmont has plans to explicate some of this. I sure hope so. I don't *think* he'd just dump Sage back in the HC to get rid of her...would he?? 8(

As for the rest, ohyeah, pretty much everything else about it was utterly wonderful. Rachel and Emma!!!!! Logan chatting it up with Kurt!! Selene! And I hope that we do see Storm talking with Sage when she's not pissed enough to knock her head off. The art was gorgeous, too, some of my favorite. I wish that we got to keep this artist.
