This little meme is pulled from several friends' pages:

I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want. Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.

For some reason, I really like this one and think it's cool. Although for some reason my mind pulls a blank when I try to come up with any that are both meaningful but that I'd dare to ask on-line. Be that as it may, go ahead, shoot, ask me anything ya like.

Eeee! yip yip meow!

1. hmm. Most people would think that my penchant for cooking up fresh roadkill is unusual. Opossum is my favorite...a dense, sweet white meat with a stronger flavour than chicken, but similar in texture. Quartered and barbequed, there is nothing better...put a little basil and some BBQ sauce, then devour down to the delicate little bones. My most recent was a baby possum that unwisely strayed too close to the terrier, so she wasn't roadkill at all. The meat was very tender....mmm, young possum, a true delicacy.
Racoon is a rich, red meat, very high in fat content and grease...quite nice on a cold night. It's like tri-tip.
Venison is very lean, and its quality depends largely on the age and character of the deer. And of course how long it's been laying on the side of the road. ;) It can be very nice, with a spicy, gamy (but not in a bad way) flavour, but takes careful cooking, lest it become tough, especially if we're talking mature buck. fawn is yummy, very tender red meat. But it is depressing to dress a baby fawn.

2. OMG, that could be, like, pages and pages. I tend to like traditional media over digital, but some folks do incredible stuff with digital techniques. Maybe it's just sour grapes, since I don't know how. I also tend to like more stylized work over hyper-realistic, though there are exceptions...for instance, Dark Natasha and Robert Bateman (the ultimate realistic wildlife artist par excellence.)
Personally? I like working in sumi ink. I love how black it is.
I could give you lists and lists of artists who inspire me.

3. I've been really honored and very flattered by all of the very kind feedback I've received about my writing. I love feedback---it encourages me, lets me know what I'm doing right and wrong, what's working or not. No one has been overly unkind to me, all the feedback I've gotten has been very humane and constructive, and it's cool not to be writing in a vaccum.
My gargoyles stuff is a bit on hiatus, but only because I'm working on a couple of major long-term projects. You'll like 'em when I finish 'em, promise. I've also been focusing on original fictions, and have done some X-men fics to fill in the gaps. The most recent, 'the texture of her heart', is the one I really expected to take a lot of heat for, it being easily the most extreme thing I've ever let go under my usual pen name, ;), and the only time I've ever seriously tried to do anything with "vore". But no one has thought I was an evil awful person for it, which makes me really happy. I liked it, so I'll plug it...it's on Fem-X, or available from the source on request. 'Changing Season' remains the best thing I've ever written, although looking back on it I see so many things I wish I could change. So I'll plug it for those who haven't read it and want to read my dubious efforts at writing. It's on the Gargs fan website.

Are those good enough answers?

1. Demona and Elisa. The characterizations on both were done so exquisitely, and they are both such "real", compelling people. But honestly, I like just about everyone on Gargoyles. I love Leo and Una, so much was conveyed about them in one short little episode, and they showed the effects of the passage of time on a person so well. The change from young, kind of breathless and demure Una to the older, colder, angry Una was wonderful, as was Leo's more subtle sadness and self-doubt. It almost mirrors Demona's transition.

Griff, on the other hand, is such a pain. ;) Arrogant hothead, and so immature.

2. Since I draw pretty much continually and quickly---I only ever post a tiny % of what I actually produce---it will be art. The writing I tend to do in big, obsessive, exhausting cycles, and of course it takes me much longer to create and then edit a story than it does a pic. However, I am heading into one of those obsessive cycle things, so I should have new stuff to share, too. Actually, I do have something relatively new, but it was for the Gathering contest, and they haven't announced yet whose they want.

3. oooh, now that's hard. Mint chocolate chip, preferably with chocolate sprinkles, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Ben and Jerry's toffee one makes me purr too. now I want ice cream....
