summer_jackelBut I have been drawing up a storm, largely because I don't have the energy to do anything else. Here's a new con badge, in anticipation of BayCon at the end of the month, which I am definitely looking forward to, as always:
I had a con badge I was perfectly happy with, but then somehow I went and lost it. *grrrrs at self*. I suppose it was time for an update, anyhow. This one is jazzy.
I'm still painfully sick, but I'm going to work anyhow...I think that after last night's utter misery, I'm on the other side of it.
Want some humor? It helps, I find, when one is miserable. These designs, with which the State of California lamentably did not opt to grace our coin, are by the very talented Roz Gibson (Martes) who also has a wonderfully dark sense of humor. I think that they would have represented our fair state quite well.

I've also been revisiting the Watts Martin 'Revar' stories, which are some of my favorites and have been for years. Beautiful writing, tragic, romantic, elegant, and utterly satisfying. I really wish that more of his work was available. If you want a real treat, go to

And a spectacularly silly meme. The ironic thing is that I can actually see myself writing this fanfic. After the other three that I'm trying to do. :P
Kitty is going to have to be the gay one, though, I don't think I have it in me to write a gay Logan. Isn't Kitty pretty much written thus already? (eyes the return of Rachel and Kitty's reaction thereto in the latest XXM with extreme amusement.)
