Trixie with a snow leopard who needs a name. I think I'm keeping her ear cut where it is here as opposed to where it is on the other picture. Since these are still sketches, I can fix it.

Commission status: Deeply Buried. Arting tonight, though. Aiming for everything penciled and at lesat one of them inked. Here is my list, for my reference; you probably don't care, although you might if one of these is yours ;D:

Also: Birthday. Chris and I hiked into the woods and stayed there for a long time. It was awesome. As we were hiking home, we heard a bird call...owl?!? that I'd never heard before. Sounded like a sad woman crying. It was really cool, but we got all wide-eyed and...whatwasthat????????!?

I'd love to know the call. The thing is, I hear owls all the time, and they sound like...well...owls. whoo, whoo. This winter I ID'd 2 separate individuals by voice, even. But THIS call I've never heard before, in ~8 years of living here, and it was WEIRD. Coolness!

heh. It isn't you; actually, I'm enjoying the character a great deal. (an archaeopteryx? How cool is that???) It's the getting as much wing as I want on the page in the perspective I want. That's more like me spatting with my muse, really. ;)

*Blushes* I've never been called "cool" before. Though I've always considered archaeopteri cool (and their evolved Reptilonian counterparts even more so).

I guess we all have spats with our muse every so often, even us nonartistic types. (My job does require a fair bit of creativity, and that brain-muscle needs flexing a whole lot more in myself).
