Cats, Dogs, a fancy dress and a film crew

My last post was, sadly, pet-free. Below, I address that issue. Also, *film crew*, as in the one that filmed us for the BBC a couple of weeks ago. My mind still refuses to completely accept that we did in fact do this, and that my *life*, for goodness' sake, was worth *filming a documentary about*. I mean, seriously, WTF. But, it is done. There's photographic proof. There's going to be *filmed* proof in a month or so; I really, truly hope I didn't say anything too stupid in front of the camera.
But, you want pictures, naturally.
Here's Tiger, being very pretty. Lookit the shiny paws, crossed so gracefully! Tiger is not exactly a cuddly, demonstrative cat, but he knowingly graces us with his gorgeous presence. His favorite way to greet me these days is when I'm sitting underneath him on the couch, if I extend my head backwards and offer him my throat, he'll sniff me over and perhaps groom me a bit. Yes, I know that's submissive posture. So does he. :P

Tiger loves the fire.

Some contemplative shots of Fenris at the beach from a week or so ago. My dogs really aren't young any more. I'll probably keep it at two big dogs henceforth, when Fen, who is 14 now, passes. I'm hoping she stays with me several more years, though...she's still plenty active and playful, and wolfdogs have good longevity.

OMG FILM CREW. They were really nice people. I hope the documentary dosen't suck. Here they are filming Lucy and I walking to the beach...

This camera is scary.

filming Lucy feeding the chickens!

And, OK, this is just a preview, because there will be Dickens Faire photos and many more of this outfit, but...check it out. A scruffy jackal somehow becomes an 1800s fancy lady. This lovely Victorian ballgown is
corpsefairy's quite amazing work. It deserves its own post, which it will receive along with details of our adventures getting to Dickens this year, but here it is for now, slightly unfinished in this photo.
