Life gets odd

We have reciprocal results on this meme. Is scaaaaaaaaaary. I just wanna know when the heck I'm going to end up untied?
On a less amusing note, Chris broke his wrist sketeboarding last week. =( A kid ran into him at the skate park, he went down and, well, crunch.
We are all very sad about this. Not only does this suck because casts do, the tandem race next weekend is obviously...off. *Sad*. Well, the point of being fit enough for a race should be the fitness, not the race, but it's a little harsh because of how long we've been training. Ah, well. Next year?
And hey, living with an injured athlete is not exactly stress-free. My silly boy is, believe it or not, back on his bike, broken wrist and all. *Jackel shakes her head.* I really worry about him sometimes. Still, this is great ammo for the next time the Great Motorcycle Debate comes up. (summary of debate: Jackel---"preferably no motorcycle ever, but if motorcycle, then only a slow Harley-type cruiser." Chris---"motorcycle, and uber fast Honda crotch-rocket! A pox on your Harley, you have no style!" Jackel retort---"you worry me enough on your *bike*, dammit, NO motorcycle!")
So, ahem, yes, that's enough of my laundry. I did a really cool acrylic painting on his cast; I will photo and post it when I get the thing developed, along with more of Pouncival, who at the moment is all legs, tail, big blue eyes and enough energy to keep San Francisco in electricity for at least three days if he were wired to a generator.

Last time it was a broken foot...we're at two trips to the hospital for five trips to the skate park. This particular hobby needs to go. Sad, though. He's so pretty and graceful when he skates.
