I'm a little dazed right now and probably not coherent enough to be writing in this thing, but what the hey. It's over.
Yowzers! It's Over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I won't go into all the bloody steaming details...the great majority of people reading this thing will have heard me whining about it since before last summer and are, I'm sure, all mightily happy to hear the end of it. Suffice to say that it was all one should expect from 18 hours' worth of diabolical, icky and just plain strange legal questions taken in a downright Orwellian setting. It was hard. It was one of the less pleasant things I've ever done in my life. It's over. I hope I passed it; I am gaurdedly optimistic on that score.
Not totally all bad, though. Anna and I provided good emotional support for one another during breaks in the ordeal...it was nice to have a friend suffering similarly. (wait, that isn't a very nice sentiment, is it?) The Oakland Marriot is a reeeeealy plush hotel, and, being the unapologetically hedonistic little thing I am, I enjoyed it for all it was worth. (especially the view of a huge lightning storm from the 16th floor! Wow! That was cool...although it didn't help me sleep.) Robynne and household, being the wonderful folks they are, supplied fabulous support, love and crash space both before and after the event, and hanging out at their den is always fun. Thank goodness for pack, yes? If it weren't for the bar exam part, I'd have had a grand vacation. ;)
So yeah. My brain is liquid. Wow. It's...over. Unreal.
