Fall here still feels like spring to me. I see the little green growing things struggling out of the mud and smell the mist-almost-rain in the morning, and in a way, it's more conducive to giving thanks than the frozen earth and whipping snow of November in Montana. Rain is a benediction, and there's a peace and well-being I have always found standing (or running, or dancing) in the rain that doesn't exist for me anywhere else. Anyway.
