Post-Bar blues
Feb. 29th, 2004 10:46 amI *still* cannot believe the bar is over.
My body has gone into full shock, apparently...I feel more exhausted now than I did after the 3-day bicycle stage race I did last summer. And it is certainly not thrilled with all the caffene I was taking to keep me wired for the test, nooooooooo way. I can't even walk up hills without being dizzy...it's like a tremendous hangover. Bleagh!!!!!
If I didn't pass, I think I'll go drown myself in the duckpond. Ah well, we'll know in May. Time to get on with my life. Which means getting a job...aak!
So...projects and art stuff...I'm working on a furry comic that will be about 10 pages long. It is yiffy, but I think it's cute, and more importantly it's almost all penciled, so that means I will *finish* it...woohoo!
For writing, I'm going to try and do something for the Gathering contest, even though I have already missed the deadline...Auntie Ellen lit a fire under my tail about it, and the plotbunnies got going, so the story is now in my head, it just needs to be written. More Demona-tragedy, *not* yiffy this time (awwwwww) but I'll mention it when it is finished...I won't upload it at GFW until I know the Gathering contest isn't going to make an exception for me. (I'll just tell them this sob story about having to study for the bar...;) Optimistically, it will be roughed by tuesday.
So yeah, it looks like I'm not quite dead. The rock just rolled down the hill; I get a couple of moments to breathe before I have to go down and start pushing it back up again. Ah, the moment of freedom...gotta love it.
