Law and stuff...
May. 27th, 2004 12:54 pmHey, life's lookin' pretty good for the little ol Jackel. It appears that the firm I've been working with as a paralegal is going to pick me up as an associate, now that I've passed. It's small, I really like and respect my boss and the other attorney I'd be working with, nand it's a *5 minute drive* from my very rural home. Is that sweet or what?!?
However, my first assignment is to draft a writ of a type I've never even seen, and it has to be filed *tomorrow* *dies*. Ah well. I have a draft at least. Thy will be done...*sweatdrop*
And this weekend is BayCon! Such fun! This is the con that I've been going to for ...12 years? 13? Yikes. But anyhow, Avalon Rising will be there, and many of my friends I don't see nearly often enough, and I'm sure that I won't waste any opportunity to party. Full report post-con.
And I get sworn in on the second. Woah. I'll actually be a lawyer at that point. Yip.
