SPIIIII-Dahhhhh...(he is our hero)...
Jul. 5th, 2004 04:18 pm*giggles* just saw Spider-Man with my brother. Seriously sweet film, will make you feel good. Spidey is just such a loveable, dorky underdog, you have to love him (and I've never been particularly fond of the comic.) It had some huge plot holes, but do we really care?
Doc Ock made me cringe in the trailers...this just seemed like one of those comic book villians that would never work in live action...but the effects on him were very good; he was scary and sympathetic.
And some bits were utterly priceless. The violinist. squeee!
All in all, a great way to liven what has been otherwise kind of a downer of a weekend. Gentle entertainment with a wonderful heart.
Pouncival is doing very well. He and Magic are really fond of each other...I caught her grooming him. =) In just one short week, I can see his growth...his head is slightly more catlike and less kitten like, and his ears are very very big. I took the first roll of pics to be developed today.
Chris is gone for a couple days, and I'm all alone. I'm not in an incredibly creative place right now, though I *have* finished the two trades I was working on (must scan them now...) I'm rereading Laurell K. Hamilton (Bloody Bones) and waiting for my next shipment of reads from Amazon to arrive.
Am wondering about the John Constantine movie now. I can't wait, but I'm worried. Keanu Reaves as Constantine? Huh? Could they have cast that more inappropriately?
aaah, the truth outs...
oh, the drama of it!! The drama! *clutches her heart theatrically*
