102.2....was my temp when I woke up this morning, and it hasn't gone down any. :( I got chills and dizziness...I don't think that this is a simple case of con crud, alas.
I am spending the time doing lots of art...a couple trades I am seriously late on, this months's FAX2 (which is done, I just need to scan 'er) and some stuff I just feel like doing after the con.
You guys who saw me there, I just can't stress enough how happy it made me to spend time with you all. <3 Say what people will, the furry artist community contains a great volume of beautiful, wonderful minds and great talent, and it totally jazzes me to get to spend time with you all.
I'm also looking at the fish tank, when I'm not huddled in front of the fire...it's plenty warm in here, but my body has apparently stopped thermoregulating and I have these nasty chills. I saw the pleco cat eat for the first time ever...usually, s/he stays stuck to the side of the tank and moves little. I fed 'em, and she carefully dropped from her hidey spot, moving carefully over to the algae wafer I'd provided. She took a few nibbles and swam back. The other fish were really respectful. I felt kind of honored.
My two micro-cory cats seemed to have gone missing. :( I didn't see any dead fish, but can't spot 'em live anywhere in the tank either. Either they are dead and the others completely ate them before I caught it, or they are still alive and in hiding until they are bigger. Huh.
Pouncival and Magic have been giving me lots of purrs as I steal their spot by the fire.
And Chris is taking such great care of me...making me yummy dinners and coaxing me into eating, and making special trips to the store on his bike to get me the really good herbal tea. He's such a wonderful guy. I'm lucky. Sick as a stray dog, but lucky.
Prrr, all.
