Rest In Peace, Otto
May. 6th, 2005 12:46 pmI lost Otto, my lovely silver-white chinchilla this morning. Someone, I know not who or how, left the bottom door of his cage open, he got out during the night, and...well...terriers and chins do not get along. The predictable occurred.
He is survived by his mate, Ophelia. I don't know when or if I'll get her a companion, but I don't want her to be alone for too long. She and Otto were so close. And now she looks so confused.
I buried him by the chicken coop, with a serpintine rock, some baby tears and a forget me not to mark him. He was a wonderful little pet.
Nature is a restaraunt.
