Eggs and doggies
Sep. 13th, 2005 09:29 amGot this from Illucian:

I just couldn't choose between the scary green egg or the pretty golden one. So I gots me both. XD I love this sorta thing.
In terms of my real-life pets, I went walking to the Russian river with my mom. (It was my brother Timothy's 17th birthday. We actually had a really nice visit! And cake and pizza and stuff. No fights between her and me, or her and Timothy, either! The Earth shakes, and I am thrilled!!!!!!)
So I had Jezibel, and mom had her 2 dogs, Cubby, who is littermate to Pryde, and Thea, a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Despite the chilly evening, the moment I let Jez off leash, she was gleefully in the water...Jez is the water-wolf, and I often comment that she represents the intermediate stages of how one would obtain a retriever by selectively breeding wolves. Cubby ignored her, not in the mood. (most Nordic dogs are wary of or indifferent to water unless it's quite warm...a good lead dog will sense cracks in the ice and generally keep the sled team away from water). Thea, the African desert hound, stared at her in profound horror. I've never seen a look of shock like that on a dog's face...like Jez had grown another head, or started meowing. Thea actually ran away from Jez and the water. I laughed.
Dogs are good.
