It is definitely time to get out of here.

I am probably stressing more than I need to about a phone message from my mom this morning, telling me how thrilled she was that I found Trucker...and wanting to pick her up ASAP.

I don't even want to go into the levels of fail involved in her care of this cat to date, and I really don't want or intend to give Trucker back. The tricky bit is convincing mom that this is in her best interests and those of the cat...which should be easy in any universe that contains logic, because she is currently sharing her RV with two large dogs and a minimum of two cats.

Unfortunately, this process is likely to involve me getting yelled and maybe even screamed at, especially when she finds out that I had Trucker spayed. So I'm heading off to the woods and will try to resolve this situation gracefully and with as much sense and maturity as possible upon my return. Because right now I just want to deck her and would probably scream back.

Also: big thanks to mooncatx for some of these oh-so-cute little dragons! Including one which isn't. ;) Indulge me. I'm having a rotten week...
