Anniversaries (second attempt)
Apr. 15th, 2010 05:31 pmThe leaves on the oak trees are tender again
clothing that elegant roughness with vulnerability
which never lasts long.
symbols are flexible
as seedlings
as new growth on a tree with pieces come off of it
from the winter's storms.
And things have changed;
there's always change.
But a day in April, translucency of light, a frost of green upon the oaks---
for me, that's her.
clothing that elegant roughness with vulnerability
which never lasts long.
symbols are flexible
as seedlings
as new growth on a tree with pieces come off of it
from the winter's storms.
And things have changed;
there's always change.
But a day in April, translucency of light, a frost of green upon the oaks---
for me, that's her.
