NaPoWriMo

Oh yeah, and it's April. I'm indulging in NaPoWiMo, so my goal is to produce one poem per day all month. Don't be surprised if half of them are three random lines about ducks---but actually, if I wrote three lines about ducks every day for 30, I'd still have an interesting piece of work. So here goes. Please forgive my duckkerel.


I. Three Ducks

I remember:
One merganser floating across river currents
and today, two mallards
quietly through still rainwater.
