They are really amazing creatures; I love them. You are of course invited to come visit me in the rainy season when there is a higher probability of finding them, but they are, alas, not guaranteed. They are something of a blessing whenever they appear.
I'll see if I can't dig up a pic of the _huge_ one we found while doing work under my house several months ago. It was gorgeous. And also, huge. It didn't fit in my hand all the way, certainly not if you include the tail. And they are, as I mentioned, entirely harmless.
