I constantly reference the collie sprawling in his favorite sleeping spots "as though flung there from a tremendous height/ thrown from a passing train". It's especially hilarious when he does it at the base of the stairs:



Sometimes I just want to put cones and caution tape around him.

I have a kitty that sleeps like that, but Jazz is a little more traditional in her sleeping positions. I have had dogs that slept weird before, though....

Collies (and many other dogs) have bendytoy spines, yes. But cats have spines of Play-Doh. ;) I've seen cats almost literally tie themselves in a knot in sleep, and they are entirely comfy.
