Excited dogs greet me with enthusiasm.
Walking them along the narrow streets and redwoods, I
listen to distant laughter. The tiny lights of houses
shimmering through trees illuminate my way.
And I realize, in this busy summer, I have hardly looked at the stars at all.
Standing on the fish-bridge then, I watch the night above the forest
Caress four long, soft heads
remember not all love is pain
and bask in this warm September night.

I didn't know fungi came in this many colors... or this big (a mushroom cap bigger across than the man carrying it).
Yes, they have some orange and yellow ones... both photos and illustrations. Enjoy!
