Thirty Five Years of Summer Jackel, woo and wag and a yip yipe yap
It's been a busy week in the best way. I'm now 35 (as of the 31st). I'm loved by some wonderful people, and am very happy and grateful for that.

Check out the cake that
kynekh_amagire made me. It is a rainbow catfish cake! The woman has SKILLZ, ok?
I got some seriously good cake this year. Each layer of Kyn's confection was made with a different kind of alcohol, and the cake was delicious.
corpsefairy and
nicole_monkey brought me Guinness cupcakes with Bailey's frosting, which were also completely delicious...and I still have some for when I get off this bike. SCORE.

Immediately after I took this picture, I petted these cats, and found their coats to be filthy. Poor longhaired cats who cannot properly groom themselves. I have come to accept the inevitability of bathing them periodically.

Nocturne is scandalized

But very cute and much cleaner now.

You can only do so much with Trucker, but still. This makes her much more pettable.

Tiger demanded to know what I was doing with his cat, so I obliged his curiosity. None of them got a claw in me; I'm just that good.

Meanwhile, little Cyril remains blissfully innocent of the knowledge that anything as horrible as a cat bath even exists.

Kyn and I went to the beach with our perfectly coiffed dogs. Washed them again after, of course. Isn't it nice to be compatibly insane?

...and the outtake. I give you my exhibition dog, people:

Handsome.

Little Roguey

Dog has his head in the clouds.

Never miss an opportunity to stack the dog somewhere dramatic, right?

Bliss Like Chaos

youth and age

Luck

oh dogs.

and from a different angle, you get a Noble, Leonine Collie.

Bliss very rarely holds his tail like this; only at maximum excitement.

Nikolai is very fond of corn.

See?

He also relishes herbal tea.

My garden being all pretty!

The foxglove

The growing tip of the cork bark fir

Fishies! I am the kind of dork who names her fish, apparently. Visible here are Pearl (the white one) Medicine Hat (the one with the medicine hat, or more appropriately tancho since the subject is a domesticated carp) White Fishlips (the one with the white fishlips), Everyfish and Secret, a minnow I got from the pond. Calico was being shy.

The rest of the photos were fun, too, particularly of your bird. He has good taste if he likes herbal tea.
And finally? Congrats on making it through another year. :) Coming up on the big 4-0 myself in a few months.

Glad you like the pics. Nikolai's favorite treat is herbal tea; he really enjoys it.

I love the pissadointed cat picts, they are very ammusing.
I dont have enough guts to wash Molly she has never scratched but soap might bring it out in her.
Dogs are cute, and I envy your nice weather we are rainy again.
