...that you write erotic fan fiction?

It was bound to happen eventually. But. Take my fine laddie, a teacher on summer break with time to kill, a broken arm to ensure that he isn't doing any of the things he normally enjoys, a vague awareness that I might have some fiction on the net somewhere, and a high-speed connection.

So yes, Chris spent all day reading my fics. Hoo nelly. He got an eyefull. ;)

It actually turned into a really cool relationship strengthening thing. I was afraid he'd think me too geeky to be allowed to live for this little habit of mine and be totally alienated, not being the typical sci-fi fan type; upon reading this, he was afraid he'd stumbled upon my private personal thing and that now that he knew, our relationship was toast. (isn't male insecurity a precious thing?)

But, he loves the stuff (how couldn't he? ;D Come on, who dosen't want their partner to enjoy writing erotica?) and I feel relieved that he knows about it, because, you know, this wasn't exactly secret, it's all up on the freakin' internet after all, but I don't like any taint of dishonesty in my relationship.

So now *I* need to go back and figure out exactly what he *saw* **blush**...
'Texture of her Heart' (Vange the dragon eats her gf ;) gave him a little bit of pause, but then, people, if that one dosen't give you pause, you might think about worrying a little. Other than that, Chris is copacetic.

Gotta love it.

That done, I can get back to writing erotic fanfics. ;)

Happy outcome!

I'm nearly done with the story you volunteered to be guinea pig reader for. Expect it within a week.

I remember when I told my parents I wrote fanfic - over two years later.

Glad everything worked out with the bf. Although, you know, if they hadn't - my LJ meme does say we're supposed to have sex at a Democratic convention, so you and I could have flown out to Boston (hey, last chance for four years!) . . .

>:D

Chris knew I wrote fanfic. He just didn't know that half of it was NC-17. Bit of a distinction, that.

lol...the Democtatic *convention?* the *Democratic* convention?
um...I guess sexier than the republican one *shudder* but still. *giggle*

heh...go Democrats.

It's nice to get secrets off your chest. Especially when someone you think highly of (or in your case, your S.O.) knows and is cool with it, it makes ya feel all the more, er, *normal* I suppose is the word. :>

Hee hee hee! Congrats on coming clean, Jacks. The husband is still kind of afraid to read *my* stuff, bless his heart...

Good thing you got that off your chest. So well, maybe now he can "inspire" you on what you can write in your erotica fics ;).

yeah, I agree...although "normal" isn't a word I tend to often use in descriptions of myself. ;D

OK, when I reply to people's comments, I do not know why LJ isn't organizing the replies under the comments like it's supposed to. Still, y'all can figure out what goes where. Silly computers.

how delightful
