I continue to gain more facility with my little inking brush. It's a watercolor brush, I think, that I've had since early adolescence. It came with a set the rest of which are utterly useless, and I have fancy brushes that cost six times as much I don't like half as well, and I shudder to think of what will happen if I ever lose or ruin it. How long do brushes last?????

Speaking of said brush, I used it to ink this, Jackel's latest model sheet. With which result I am pleased.



A model sheet of her nonmorphic form and posibly her griffin form will follow eventually, as will a colored version of this. But. I'm on a kirin kick, thanks to FAX and FAX2 both handing me kirins to draw and I want my own Kirin and redoing meh models is a little less appealing. Should it be a girl or a boy? I'm kinda heavy on the female chars atta moment, maybe a stallion. (or buck? Which would apply to kirins?)

I also need to start thinking about doing stuff for FurCon, if I want to be in the art show this year. And tell FC that I'm gonna be in the art show, too, if it isn't too late to reg. Hmm. Must. Get. Off. Artistic. Ass.

Still working on X-fics, too, with loving albiet slow care, really. This week I'm drawing and reading...including beta-ing Roz Gibson's new novella which is...! yum! Jack Salem! *happy shivers*
