Yip! Purr! Yip!
Sep. 6th, 2004 03:38 pmHmm, haven't posted in a bit.
Life continues in a remarkably lifelike manner. Last weekend, Princess Alexandria of Gargoyles fanfic infamy, I mean, er, fame, flew in to visit me. We had a great time exploring San Francisco, partaking of such amusing and varied tourist attractions as Alcatraz (bleak!) bay tours (wet n windy!) the Castro (eee...biiiiig puppy eyes) Golden Gate Park and the recently re-opened conservatory of flowers (huger plants than you'd believe!) and the Pier 39 aquarium (fishys! Must hug fishys!)
I am gratified we got along as well as hoped...this was my first experience physically meeting someone I'd met only on line...and I don't seem to have frightend her overly much. Although I hope she forgives me for a) walking her from one end of the city to the other and b) being unable to make the bus system take us where we wanted to get, at least immediately. We talked a lot about writing and bounced various ideas off of each other's appropriately devious little minds. Expect the collabaration we're working on to be postable...um...some time before the end of the year? *looks over at Princess hopefully*.
I want to write and/or draw right now, but I am so unnaturally lethargic from the antibiotics I'm on from a kidney infection (!!! never had one before and hopefully never will again. WTF illness?!?!) Think I'll read some comic books and go to sleep.
Pouncival continues to grow ever lankier, pouncier and more beautiful. His bengal spots are becoming ever more defined and he is starting to lose his baby coat. He and Magic love one another; having 2 cats is good! More commendations to MooncatX for her cat breeding skill.
OK, must crash now. myowrl!
