Yip! Purr! Yip!
Sep. 6th, 2004 03:38 pmHmm, haven't posted in a bit.
Life continues in a remarkably lifelike manner. Last weekend, Princess Alexandria of Gargoyles fanfic infamy, I mean, er, fame, flew in to visit me. We had a great time exploring San Francisco, partaking of such amusing and varied tourist attractions as Alcatraz (bleak!) bay tours (wet n windy!) the Castro (eee...biiiiig puppy eyes) Golden Gate Park and the recently re-opened conservatory of flowers (huger plants than you'd believe!) and the Pier 39 aquarium (fishys! Must hug fishys!)
I am gratified we got along as well as hoped...this was my first experience physically meeting someone I'd met only on line...and I don't seem to have frightend her overly much. Although I hope she forgives me for a) walking her from one end of the city to the other and b) being unable to make the bus system take us where we wanted to get, at least immediately. We talked a lot about writing and bounced various ideas off of each other's appropriately devious little minds. Expect the collabaration we're working on to be postable...um...some time before the end of the year? *looks over at Princess hopefully*.
I want to write and/or draw right now, but I am so unnaturally lethargic from the antibiotics I'm on from a kidney infection (!!! never had one before and hopefully never will again. WTF illness?!?!) Think I'll read some comic books and go to sleep.
Pouncival continues to grow ever lankier, pouncier and more beautiful. His bengal spots are becoming ever more defined and he is starting to lose his baby coat. He and Magic love one another; having 2 cats is good! More commendations to MooncatX for her cat breeding skill.
OK, must crash now. myowrl!

Date: 2004-09-07 08:32 am (UTC)Hmm. Maybe we can plan to walk Alexandria from one end of Vegas to the other? And I hear there's Grand Canyon plans being made...there's a great trail to the bottom of that. ;D
*squee!*
Date: 2004-09-09 09:46 am (UTC)I can hardly wait for our trip to Las Vegas, soooo much stuff to get done by then >^@@^< art, story, getting in shape...
awwww... Pouncival sounds so yummilicious! pictures!!! *whimpers* must see!!!
I want to write and draw too! But first I need to clean house... sigh. Comic books!!!! Looks at Jackel with envy *^_^* Nap time is good! I've been napping a lot since the accident and I think it helps a lot. Ack! Your poor wee kidney... *gives healing kitty lick over Jackel's kidney place* Get better kidney! Jackel needs you! *sends good healing vibe to kidney*
Okay, I'm going to pop out for the morning, then come home and work on getting all straightened out and nice, then finish my re-read of P&S so I can write. Yeah, I am one of those peeps who has to re-read and re-read so I don't lose the thread of characterizations and story when I write new stuff. Hopefully I'll have a new bit to entertain you later today *^_^* *snugs the jackel*
*purring madly*

Date: 2004-09-09 01:39 pm (UTC)*hugs the kitty* I hope you are recovering OK from your car accident? *sniff*.
My kidneys feel good now *breathes a huge sigh of relief* although I still have a couple of days worth of antibiotic, which I will of course take faithfully. *disgruntled Jackel coughs up a hairball.*
oooh...writing?? I know that I'm not the only one whose ears will perk up at the thought of new P&S chapters. Purr! yip! gimmee!
ficwise, I'm still grappling with how best to write Storm, Sage and the interaction thereof, an OC werewolf erotic piece (well, actually 2 of them, but I'm only working actively on one) and some other loose ends...but, the creativity demons really seem to be coming back with a vengeance for 'Clan Ties.' Woohoo! My missing Leo/Demona/etc montage is *finally* getting written. As is so common, when I made the realization of what plot element was missing, the thing started to unravel like fishing line.
I'll post a preview here possibly as soon as next weekend.
*purrz yipz atta da kitty*
