Eep! I’m willing to drive three hours each way for a day visit, but it’s awfully far to go for a brief hello or a maybe. :-O (My rule of thumb is: to be worthwhile, a visit should be at least as long as the travel time.)

I thought about this weekend because my normal routine rather suddenly imploded and I realized I would be at loose ends, but there’s nothing special about it otherwise. Do you have a better weekend to recommend?
