What do you think of this style, seriously? These two are pretty rough, though I was enjoying leaving them that way. I ask because I'm extremely tempted to do 'Bone Shard' like this, in pencil and greyscale watercolors. I'd clean them up a little more for the actual story, but I am really enjoying the moody watercolor thing. Are y'all interested in reading (a lot) more story in this style?

Date: 2008-11-12 05:29 pm (UTC)I think the style works, for this moment, at least. For the whole comic, maybe not, but you might be able to push more contrast for scenes that demanded it.

Date: 2008-11-13 04:11 am (UTC)There will be more of Danielle and Shard very soon. I have decided to go with the greytone washes, but in areas that require a more detailed and specific style, I will do a 'cleaner' art. I think it will all hang together.
