An amusing feline morning...

Pouncival is attempting to scale the counters now. He made it up the fish tank and onto the windowsill, managing to knock one of my orchids to the ground...d'oh! the plant was fine, but it did get orchid bark all over the floor. When I vaccumed it, Pouncival came up, wanting his vaccum. I'm not kidding. Most cats head for the hills at the first breath of a vaccum, but my odd little boy treats it like a massage. Makes for a great grooming tool, let me tell you. I'm wondering if his family share this trait. Mooncat?

I wish he'd teach Magic the pleasure of the vaccum. (heck, that sounds like the kicking off point for more furry porn.) She came in shedding like crazy this morning, wanting a little love. Poor thing, Pounce pounces her hard every time he sees her, she's always getting roughed up. So I spent some Magic time, just petting and brushing her (and brushing, and brushing...)

I found almost an entire cat's claw, broken off, lodged in her *head*. She seemed happy to have it taken out. She's involved in an ongoing dispute over the territory under our deck with the neighbor's three cats. She seems to be in the best position at the moment, but I heard them yowling about it last night. It is three on one, and magic is at a disadvantage because I trim her claws...wish she'd just stay in the yard, but no. Never question a cat's territorial desires.

When Pounce grows up, if he takes an interest in it, the neighbor cats are doomed. In play, he's merciless, and draws blood even *with* trimmed claws. And he's going to be huge. I shudder to think of an adult Pounce explaining to another cat that the land is his.

I have this silly sticker on my car that says "my cat can beat up your cat." I guess now it's true.

WEEEEEEEEEEIRD cat. Yeah, my cats always run away from the "evil vacuum creature." How often do you have to change the filter/bags with all the cat hair? LOL

..... Canister or upright? Any favorite/special attachments? >XD

Charlie's not as afraid of the Evil Vacumn as he used to be, but he'd never submit to BEING vacumned!

He also got a claw stuck in his head once, too. He never won any cat fights. One time he got bitten on the butt and ended up getting an abcess.

Pounce!

Well, I will say Pounce is from the most scary smart line of cats I've ever encountered. Weirdness to look forward too... Bengals like water. I've squirt bottled a bengal till water was sheeting off her fur, and she liked it... sigh Not all, but some bengals like to swim, so if you have a little wade pool, don't be surprised to find the cat in it.

Some Bengals are water proof. I once took the same she bengal, dunked her in a full sink, held her up, and looked very closely. Not a drop stuck to her. Weirdness abounds.

When he is full grown, unless the other cats are real monsters, he should beat the ever loving stuffins out of them if they try anything. Bengals are stronger than regular cats, their body muscle is more dense, and their little jaws are stronger too. As he grows, teach him soft mouth play, don't let him develope a biting habit.

His daddy is lean, but I swear he's a solid muscle. His mother is the most supple animal in the universe. Put the two together and you have your Pounce.

now, to the sticking point... PICTURES!!!!! I'm in kitty with drawal Pouncival wise *^_^*

Soon he will have full blood baby sibs! I've already put Delilah into a birthing room so she can have her babies in a safe environment (probably this month). I don't trust Watered Silk not to make another play for the newborns. Your Pounce had such an interesting birthday >^@@^< It still gives me the shivers remembering how I chased WS around the Cat Play Room to get the new baby out of his mouth. Watered Silk is an incredibly gorgeous boy, but he is a problem with the Snatch and Grab habit he has with EVERYTHING.

ahhhh... I feel like taking cat pictures today. Give you some 'family photos' for your little boy *^_^*

So far I haven't tried to vacuum any of the Bengals. I have formica floors so I don't really vacuum anything except the stairs, and usually I just brush them out with a cat brush. Yes, I brush the stairs... and pick up enough cat hair to make two new cats each time :P

Okay, gotta get work done!
*licks and purrsss*
