Corpse Bride, movies generally

No spoilers, but I saw it last night. It had some lovely animation, fun characters, a neat plot, REALLY neat visuals and a cool concept. But it fell far short of Nightmare Before Christmas in depth of story and quality of music. I had much higher expectations for it. Ah, well. Worth seeing.

I am going to try and catch Serenity next weekend. I have never seen Firefly (or Buffy, or Angel...I haven't had tv reception since Gargoyles was on the air and that was my last TV obsession...) but I take...almost all of your words for it, and believe that it is A Good Thing. And hey, catching things like Firefly (and, sobs, the last season of DS9 which despite my obsession with it I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN) are what DVD players are for.

I was going to say that I'd be surprised if y'all have any trouble guessing any of these, but some of them seem more difficult than I would have thought. It was hard for me to find 20 films that I really love, but these all qualify.
