I did go sailing today, all 3 of us on our little bitty sailboat on Tomales Bay (we'll see if any pics came out). There was another sailboat actually flying the jolly roger, which is odd because boat people tend to take what flags they fly pretty seriously. I was surprised by how unfunny I found it.

Also kinda cute...head-related sketch. ;) Whether or not Jackel the drawn character ends up with this scar depends largely on how obvious my real one ends up being. We'll see. Stitches out tomorrow YAY. Since I'm leaving for Oregon to race the tandem road bike with Chris on Weds., I'm really thrilled about that. It would deeply SUCK to be in a 4-day stage race with stitches in my head.

There's something to be said for quick sketches. They are very clean, somehow.
