Pics---baby jay adorableness and Bey

So, a couple of days ago on my daily walk, I found an unfledged baby Stellar's jay flopping around on the path in front of me. One of the parents was circling overhead, upset...it was really sad. I couldn't locate the nest, but judging from where I was, in the middle of a redwood grove, it was way up high in a tree I wouldn't have been able to scale without rock climbing equipment. Thankfully, the little guy was unharmed and we have a great local bird rescue center. I gave him a little water like they told me, which he drank happily...so sweet, I've never fed/watered a baby bird before. He's doing well and I'll get to release him back into the wild when he grows up. :)

Pics behind the cut, with a couple of my lovely but opinionated Bey Breeze. I rode for the first time since having my head cut open, and Bey was actually pretty nice to me.
