Pouncival had his weekly eye check up, and everything looks good! Appropriate pressure in the eye, and no infection. Next saturday the stitches come out, and we'll see if it's healing. Everybody think my poor kitty good thoughts, OK?
He dosen't seem to be holding a grudge against me for medicating him...he actually lets me do it without sitting on him now. :P And this morning, when I took his e-collar off and gently washed the crud off his stitches with a cotton ball, he got tense when I first started, but relaxed when he realized I wasn't hurting him and actually purred a little. Then he let me put the collar on like a trooper. have I mentioned recently how much I love this cat?
OK, something completely different. Chris discovered *hentai* last night. (hah. And he says he's not a geek. So deluded, my lovely boy.) This is an area, like most of Japanese animation, that I have avoided because a) I don't know anything about it, and it's such a huge body of work that I don't know where to start and b) it's hard to find and c) it's expensive. Now, I sense that there are some people on this list to which these might be smaller barriers, particularly "a". I think y'all know my tastes. Do any of you have recs?

Okay, first rule. Never BUY hentai... not when there is so much freebie stuff to be had! Technically, furry porn is a subset of hentai, so you are already part way there, my deliciously deviant furverted one *sidles against jackel's warm furry side with a throaty kitty purr*
Okay, just for pure unadulterated hardcore, there are the most current offerings like Bible Black. It's an occult horror sex heavy mini series. I've never seen anything so explicit. And on a purely artist side note, I made screen captures because I've never seen anything so realistically organic in the depiction of genitalia. It is a dark bit, includes some demonic she-maleness, and it's a 'horror' story so regulation death count... It has the most variety of sex I've seen in animation.
Myself, actually prefer some of the older fare, even thought the genitalia is digitally blurred out --it's illegal in Japan to show things like human pubic hair, or human male genitalia, so we conveniently get smooth/shaved genitals (female) and shadowed out or digitally blurred out male genitalia, and penetration is often blurred or covered in flowers or something. You'll sometimes get cuts from an intercourse scene to a visual of a flower blooming etc. However, it's perfectly alright for demon and other nonhuman male genitalia to be shown, so we get TENTACLES, lots of tentacles, demon or alien, or whatnot penii may be shown. Note, Bible Black is unedited or blurred in the US release, Japanese release version is edited/blurred.
I prefer the funny cute hentai. One very humorous soft core hentai is Ogenki Clinic, a very hilarious series about a doctor and nurse of a sex clinic and their over the top antics at curing patients.
