The last time kynekh_amagire came for a visit, we went on a walk with all six of our collective dogs for the first time. I kept Jez leashed, but other than the puppy snouting the wolf before introducing himself properly and getting his inevitably swift comeuppance, she got along fine. And we got a group shot at the end. Sadly, with the little camera; next time this happens I'll have to bring the DSLR.





The fact that three of these are pups, one is a baby puppy and one is a wolfdog makes me even more pleased with this extended stay.



An outtake, but a good one. Check out Rogue, Bliss and Rooster paying attention to the command, Jez saying 'I can't believe I'm doing this' and Coba putting the moves on Luck. Busted, Coba.



The interaction to watch here is between Jez and Luck. Jez: Hey, baby. Did you know, I have some wolf in me? Luck: I SEE NO WOLF. NONE HERE. HELLLLP!


Jez and Luck: can we be done now? Rogue/Bliss/Roo: obedient collies are obedient! Coba: Ok, so the direct approach didn't work. Maybe if I get him flowers! Or leather gear...

That little patch of white fur on his lower jaw is darling, makes him look like he's got a lil' beard. :)

It's very true. The white chinsnip is one of my very favorite markings on a collie. Bliss has it too, but it doesn't stand out quite so boldly against blue.

She totally is. On the other hand, a pack of collies is much easier on her in her age than a young wolf would be. Jez has passed the age where I would be willing to inflict a youngster of her own kind upon her. Babywolves are intense. :)

I'm continually pleased by how gorgeous our pack is. :)

Bliss Like Chaos is not one of your undersized sorts of collie, it's true, and from the look of his bone I'm thinking that Rooster is going to be a strikingly large fellow as well as a handsome one. The two of them together will be quite a pair...the denim collie and the formal one.

Love the look of consternation on Jez in the last one. She's so woefully outnumbered by housefoxes.

Jez's face says it all: you can ask a wolf for an extended stay for a photo, but said wolf will _have opinions_ about it.
