As I walked this evening,
a large and slender-legged brown spider
crossed my path,
and my unthought reaction was to reach down and pick her up,
delighted.
I caught myself; she was, indeed
A large and slender-legged brown spider.
I enjoyed her for a moment, and thought of you.

progression from 'I guess I will ignore any spiders in my house'--->'ok, spiders in the house are interesting and harmless; I can acknowledge their existence without squishing them'--->'spiders in the house are quite interesting and I will keep an eye on what they are doing because they're cool'--->'spiders in my house count as self-sustaining pets that I will regard with affection and occasionally feed' is directly traceable to you. I'm amused and pleased.

I would absolutely love to do a card or two in the tentacle beast tarot. I think you or he may have approached me awhile ago, but I will admit that it's been a crazy year or so and I lost track.
