How do we think that Callisto's name should be pronounced?

Is it

"CAL-isto"

or

"ca-LIS-to"

or something else entirely?

I've always assumed option one, but I vaguely recall hearing option 2 from Alexandria. What do you think, and is there any canon backing for it? I vaguely recall that she was in one of the cartoon episodes.

Just realized that I just wrote an entire fic about this woman without knowing how to pronounce her name.

I think it's because I'm partially French, but I'd pronounce it 'ka-LISS-toe'. But everyone's going to pronounce a name a little differently. It's personalized! :)

I pronounce it both ways. They are so close in pronunciation, I don't give it much regard. You could check a baby name book/guide for the pronunciation, maybe?

I usually say "kah lis toe"

I pronounce it kahLISStoe, because that's how they always pronounced it on Xena.
