As the spring progresses, I get ready to arbitrate my first case which, unless I manage to settle it (you now know what today's big objective at work is...) will necessitate me flying to LA next tuesday to...make like a lawyer and argue a case?? Um...me? (squeak) yeah. No, I'm not terrified, not even a little bit.
*sweatdrop*
I shoulda stuck to drawing furry porn. That's forthcoming too.
So here is this morning's hilarious picture of Pounce, who I caught sleeping in Chris' chair in this amusing position. See his pretty fur? Shiny!!!

And wanna see pics of some cute chicks??

Yes, this year sees two additions to the chicken coop (they're in the living room right now, of course). Our three hens are lovely ladies, but they are old enough that they no longer lay. These two are baby aricaunas, obtained from the local feed store, and will be absolutely gorgeous hens when grown...but they're pretty darn neat now, with those amazingly cute little stripes. They're already extremely tame. Chickens are awesome, and don't get nearly enough credit for being the excellent pets that they are...they can be friendly and beautiful, and they lay eggs to boot...pretty green ones, in the case of aricaunas.
Pouncival is of course not sleepy at all around the chicks. Predatory behavior is so beautiful, I love watching the intensity of it, and me wild little bengal kitty gets all slinky and glowy-eyed. But of course, the tender succulent helpless little baby birds are securely locked in their cage when they aren't being held.
