Yipyp!
So color versions of a bit of the lineart I posted the other day...and my half of the trade with Pelzig. The last is not my half of the trade with Martes. I still have that in the pencil form, and it is more what we discussed, Roz. But, I was doodling this silly idea and then sort of ended up finishing it; consider it a gift.
I had an absolutely wonderful day today. This pic may actually be accurate again.

They don't.

OK, I think Pelzette and Snowi are absolutely adorable. (c) Pelzig, of course. Um...this may not have been as...adult? as you wanted, Pelz. I'd be happy to do something a little later on in the scene if you'd like, email me. Commentary on the highlights in Pelzette's coat? Usually I use blues and purples to pop the black-furred critters (see Jack below) but in Pelzette's case (sie's a black widow kitty, though you can't see hir kewl hourglass marking in this pic) I decided to use the reds. Never done it that way before.

And Salem. We love Salem, don't we? He so cuddly. The creation gets friendly with his artist. Salem and of course Roz are (c) Roz Gibson.

I found your journal through your most recent post at
My Senegal is also a rehome that I adopted about 4 years ago. They are wonderful little birds once you win them over. Congrats on your little man!
Anyhow, I've added you. I'd just love reading about your critters, not to mention I really admire your artwork. :)

As for using the reds, it is certainly a unique coloration for hir and I do believe it adds to the air of the illustration and very much enhances the viewer's understanding of just who is in control of things. ^_^
