Rogue the sheltie is loved and cossetted by one and all. My big wolf things pretty much completely ignore the two little dogs when they are playing hard, kind of like they know the little ones can't play that hard and it isn't worth even the effort. Rogue and Skeeter (terrier) chase the big dogs, barking madly, when they are playing, like they are *trying* to join in, trying so very hard.
At rest, the big dogs groom and play gently with Rogue. She's kind of the baby sister, or pampered pet of the pack. Like even *they* know she's a fluffy, pretty little sheltie, and think she's cute. It's fun.
As for Rogue, she keeps waiting to grow up and be a wolf. She loves hanging out with them, but when they are doing anything really interesting, they ignore her.
