happy '07, guys...
Jan. 3rd, 2007 11:10 am...And I'm back from various holiday fun. Not back at work 'til Monday, which is nice, but I'm spending most of the time looking for another job. :P If the law thing dosen't result in an actual reliable job in the next year, '08 is probably gonna see me looking at getting a teaching credential, or something else equally unlikely and wierd. Still hoping the law horse eventually leaves the gate, though.
In the meantime, here are some pictures of where I live, and some of what I've been doing. Dickens Faire pics up in the next post.
It is raining, and I'm watching the drops collect on the bare plum tree branches, and misting in the redwoods behind them. I love it, although since I'm about to go walk in it (those three wolfdogs who need a minimum hour walk each day? Get it rain or shine).
The waterfalls seen through the trees:

Fenris and Rogue at the creek:

I spent some time with my mom and brother over the holidays, and yay, it didn't entirely kill me!!! Timothy snapped some shots of me playing the fiddle:

Dancer pics! Isn't he growing up cute? You can see how much personality he has in this shot. ;) Also, note the little white "snowflake" marking above his eye. That came in with his winter coat this year, and means that he's carrying the snowflake genes. (Not all appys carry all the possible appy pattern genes. Dancer exhibits the blanket, spotting, roaning and now snowflake patterns. If I do keep him a stud and ever breed him out, I will be really interested in how the foals look).

I like this pic a lot. At a little over a year and 1/2 Arab, Dancer still has plenty of growing to do, but he will never be a large horse. I'm expecting around 15 hands.
