Dickens Faire photos
Jan. 3rd, 2007 11:24 amSo, a couple weekends ago now, I went to visit
corpsefairy and her household. We went to the Dickens Faire in San Francisco, which is a lot like the Rennaissance Faire, only Victorian era. It is a whole pile of fun, other than being really crowded, which as some of you know can create a bit of tension in me. Still, delightful.
Becca getting
corpsefairy's hair all fixed. I love her look of concentration here, and the angles of her hands and wrists, which may or may not end up im a drawing at some point or other. New Year's Resolution #2 is to get better at drawing hands!!! (#1 is to learn 1 new session tune per month).

Gavin, on his travel cage, preening. While everyone else was getting their clothes and hair together. ;) He went visiting with me and loved it, but of course I didn't actually take him to the fair.

Jackel Victoriana. The bodice is one of
corpsefairy's extras, the skirt is one of Becca's extras, and note the cool thing Becca did to my hair. 0_o Yes, between the two of them, they have enough extra Victorian clothes to costume *three* other people. With plently left over. Dude, costumers. Yes, they made almost all of it themselves.

Afterwards, we went back to Momentum house, where there was a pleasantly low-key party atmosphere. After a while, Becca and Brendan started up the Jazz, which was wonderful!
joreth caught some of it on film, and I'm reposting it here. Hopefully, she will not object. The video and sound seem a tiny bit off, but you still get the idea (and can hear Becca singing 'Summertime'. prrrrrr).
This is my first attempt to embed a youtube video, hope it works.
